City district nazim Rana Zahid Touseef and DCO Azam Suleman Khan were also present on the occasion.
Later, the Governor left for Samundari to address a public procession and inaugurate a Sui Gas plant in the constituency of PP-59 from where PPP leader Qasim Zia is contesting the elections.
