ISLAMABAD  - Punjab Governor Khalid Maqbool has had an important meeting with President Musharraf at the Presidential camp office the other day (Monday), reliable sources told The Nawa-I-Waqt/The Nation.

A detailed discussion of the future situation of the Punjab was made during the meeting.

It is believed that PML-N, after quitting the federal government would soon join lawyer's movement in a bid to throw Musharraf and his allies out of power.

As Punjab will be the hub of lawyers movement, PML-N in that case will not be able to find it possible to remain in power, which can entail alliance of PPP and PML-Q in the Punjab.

Reliable sources also report about behind the curtain negotiations of PPP leadership with PML-Q leaders Hamid Nasir Chattha and Manzoor Wattoo.
