Govt fulfilling all promises: Gilani

KASUR - Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the PPP government is committed to the betterment of masses and is fulfilling all promises made with the people.

He expressed these views while addressing a big public meeting after inaugurating a gas project in village Usman Wala on Wednesday. He was invited by former foreign minister and MNA Sardar Asif Ahmad Ali. He said, “PPP is a philosophy and ideology and we are working for strengthening all institutions including judiciary and media as per the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.” “I myself have spent five years in prison not to attain the office of Prime Minister but for the safety of peoples’ rights,” he said. The PM confessed to have committed certain mistakes as it was confessed by Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif, but said, “Now we will execute such policies as to dispel the possibility of disappointment or the frustration among the general people.”
