At least 3 killed, 15 injured in Dadu explosion

At least 3 persons have been killed and another 15 sustained injuries as a powerful blast occurred in a rickshaw on New Chowke area in Dadu district on Sunday morning, a private TV reported. The nature of the explosion not yet confirmed. The intensity of blast was enough to shatter the windowpanes of closely located shops and buildings; meanwhile, the rescue efforts have been kicked off as scores others have been reportedly injured. DPO Dadu Ghazi Salahuddin talking to ARY News said that two to three persons were killed in the blast. The residents of the areas have also caught a suspected person from the blast site and handed him over to police, eyewitnesses said. Injured persons are being shifted to District Headquarter Hospital for medical attainment, sources said. Heavy contingent of police has cordoned off the area of the blast.
