PML-Q vows to oppose restoration of '79 LBs

PML-Q chief and former chief minister Pervez Elahi vowed to oppose the bid to restore the '79 local bodies system. Addressing the provinces nazims, naib nazims and tehsil nazims at Muslim League House, Lahore, Pervez noted that the province has become a defaulter of Rs 80 billion due to the misdeed of Sharif Brothers, and alleged them of curtailing the development funds to show their abhorrence for local bodies system.
