35 suspects nabbed during search operation in DIK

At least 35 suspected people have been apprehended during a search operation conducted in view of law and order situation. According to police sources, the women relatives of the arrested people staged a protest demonstration outside the police station after the arrests were made in the limits of City Police Station. On covering the protest demo, Geo News Cameraman Qais Javed was shoved to police station, where he was harassed. On this incident, the journalists staged a protest demo in front of Dera Presss Club and condemned the hooliganism on the part of the police personnel.
