PPP CEC, Federal Council meet today

A joint meeting of PPP Central Executive Committee and Federal Council will be held today in Islamabad in which Party's National Assembly members and Senators from Punjab will participate. The Co-chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari will preside over the meeting that is to focus on country's current situation, political challenges and separation of Pakistan Muslim League-N from the government. Talking to reporters after reaching back from Dubai, Asif Zardari said that PPP's Central Executive Committee and Federal Council would hold a joint session today to discuss development after the resignations of PML-N ministers from the federal cabinet.He said that PPP is a friend of media and its government would stand with media. Asif Zardari will address media after the meeting.
