China to give $500 million
November 13, 2008 ISLAMABAD (Agencies) - Advisor to PM on Finance Shaukat Tarin has said that China announced to give Pakistan $500 million. Talking to reporters outside the Parliament on Thursday, he said the cheapest loan at 4 per cent is being obtained only from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
He said that difficult decisions have to be made for improving the country’s economy.
