ISLAMABAD Pakistan would take up issue of US drone attacks with the US and its westerns allies in 'war on terror in line with the recommendations of National Security Committee.
In order to seek help from members European countries, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will raise this burning issue during London Conference to be held on January 28, sources told TheNation on Thursday.
According to officials of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qureshi will raise the issue in line with the recommendations of National Security Committee meeting that has recommended Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ask the US authorities to stop US drone attacks inside Pakistan.
Utterly alarmed by the growing criticism by the masses and the parliamentarians over drone US drone attacks, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will seek help from its western allies during London Conference to get stop these unmanned US drone strikes that were being perceived as counterproductive by many in the country.
Qureshi will be leaving for London at the end of this month to attend the London Conference called on 28 January to discuss Afghanistans problems and rehabilitation process in the war-stricken country.
