Fazl, Asfand, Gilani discuss issues: PM conveyed ANP concerns

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Monday held a detailed discussion with Jamiat-I-Ulema-I-Islam Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Awami National Party President Asfandyar Wali Khan on prevailing political situation, expansion of the federal cabinet and the overall working of the coalition government in the face of the contentious issues affecting the four-party coalition.

Both Fazl and Asfandyar called on Prime Minister and stayed there well over two hours.

The sources privy to the deliberations of the meeting told that the three leaders had decided that the heads of the coalition partners would meet in Islamabad on July 23 to remove the gray areas marring the smooth functioning of the coalition.
