One killed, 13 injured in Tando Adam blast

TANDO ADAM, (SINDH) (PPI) - A boy died and 13 others injured, two critically, in a bomb explosion at a shop near Ghas Mandi (Fodder Market) here Saturday noon.

Reportedly, an unidentified man visited a local shop to buy tea and after paying the amount, he asked the shopkeeper to keep a shopping bag. Soon after he left the shop, the bomb exploded with a heavy bang, killing a boy Shiraz and injuring 13 other persons who were rushed to a local hospital. The condition of two injured was stated to be precarious who were later shifted to Hyderabad Hospital.

The bomb disposal squad, called from Hyderabad after the deadly blast, confirmed that it was a remote-controlled bomb.

Meanwhile, local police have nabbed two persons suspecting to be behind the blast.

The police, however, avoided divulging the names of the suspects being grilled. A heavy contingent of police led by SP Tando Adam cordoned off the area and the DIG Mirpurkhas ZA Shah visited the blast spot and inquired after the injured at the hospital.
