Fresh airstrike kills 14 in Waziristan
By SAID ALAM KHAN November 15, 2008 PESHAWAR - At least 14 suspected militants were killed and several others injured when a US drone fired missiles on a house in sub-division Razmak, headquarters Miranshah in North Waziristan Agency in wee hours of Friday.
The spy plane targeted a house owned by a local tribal Ameer Gul, resident of Wala Deen village in Garum area on the border between North and South Waziristan agencies.
Around three missiles hit the house and destroyed it completely leaving 14 persons dead; nine of them were allegedly stated to be foreigners, while several others were injured in the strike. In the attack, owner of the house Ameer Gul along with three of his family members, whose house was mainly targeted, were also killed.
