Stop Nato attacks in Fata, BA asks govt
By BARI BALOCH November 14, 2008 QUETTA - The Balochistan Assembly has demanded of the Federal govt for taking effective steps for stoppage of US attacks in FATA.
The House converted an adjournment motion of Shiekh Jafar Khan Mandokhel into a resolution and adopted it as unanimously. The Speaker Muhammad Aslam Bhootani was in the chair. Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhel, said that the attacks in Tribal Areas was naked aggression of US and NATO forces against a sovereign country.
He was taking part in the debate over a adjournment motion.
While terming the attacks an act of terrorism, he said that it was matter of great concern for the country and its people that we were being attacked repeatedly but govt was powerless to take any action against the attackers.
PML(Q) leader said that US had carried out more attacks on Pakistani land than Afghanistan.
He also demanded of the govt to raise voice against violation of Pakistani soil and adopt an independent foreign policy.
