Senate team to visit Dr Aafia Saddiqui in US
Source: APP August 16, 2008 “The Senate delegation will meet Dr Aafia Saddiqui in US to inquire about her ordeal in the US prison,” Chairman Senate body on Foreign Affairs and Kashmir Affairs Mushahid Hussain Sayed told the media persons here on Friday at Parliament House.
The delegation will comprise Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Senator Talha Mehmood, Senator Saadia Abbasi and Senator Abbas Kumaili.
“We would also meet 7 Pakistani prisoners who are still at the notorious Guantanamo Bay prison,” added Mushahid Hussain.
