LAHORE-PML(N) leadership has expressed reservations about Waziristan operation ,adding, that they had not been taken into confidence regarding the matter.
In PML(N) leaderships opinion, it would have been better if Swat, Malakand operation had been completed first and the affectees had been rehabilitated.
The new front would have been opened after consultation with the allies, had normalcy of everyday life been ascertained in Swat and Malakand, the leadership believes. Dependable sources of PML(N) disclosed that it had been settled between PML(N) and the govt that all would be taken into confidence regarding important decisions particularly military operations, but Waziristan operation had been launched all at once and no consultation had been done with anyone.
'It will add to the number of IDPs and entail a new situation. All allies of the govt including PML(N) must have been taken into confidence, the sources maintained. Sources also believe that prolongation of the operation will add to the difficulties, therefore, Swat operation should be completed and concluded as soon as possible.
It has also been learnt through the sources that PML(N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif will speak to Prime Minister Gilani about Waziristan operation in the next few days.
