3 militant commanders killed in Khawazakhela
SWAT - At least three local militant commanders were killed and several other Taliban arrested in a joint army and police search operation in Khawazakhela area on Monday.
According to details, in a search operation jointly launched by army and police three local militant commanders identified as Izzat Khan, Nasibullah and Jaja were killed during exchange of firing in Dambara area.
Commander Izzat Khan is stated to be the mastermind of recent suicide attacks in Mingora. Kalshnikoves and hand grenades were also recovered from the militants possession. Meanwhile, several militants were also apprehended from Islampur and were shifted for interrogation to unknown place.
