US planes bombard Pak areas

BAJAUR, KURRAM (Agencies) - US warplanes carried out bombardment in Pakistan’s areas and shells were also fired from Afghan side while 16 people were killed and scores of other injured in clashes in Kurram and Bajaur Agencies.

According to a private TV channel, two US airplanes while violating Pakistan’s airspace on midnight of Friday and Saturday dropped five bombs in border areas of South Waziristan but there is no report of any loss of life. After the bombardment of US planes, there were also reports of shelling from base camp of Afghan national army and Pakistan army retaliated strongly.

There was no official confirmation of the incident of violation of US planes and the retaliation of Pakistan Army.
