Govt mulls detainees' swap with US

ISLAMABAD Pakistan is considering to swap five Americans arrested from Sargodha last week with former Bank of Punjab president Hameesh Khan as well as Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, TheNation reliably learnt on Wednesday.
According to sources, the Government is actively finalising these proposals to take up with the US through the diplomatic channels. Earlier, Pakistan rejected US pleas for handing over the five Americans. The US agency FBI had also investigated the arrested US nationals.
