3 more deposed SHC judges take oath

KARACHI - President Asif Ali Zardari has reappointed three former deposed judges of the Sindh High Court with effect from the date they would take oath of their offices.

Sources said here on Tuesday, the reappointed judges included Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Muhammad Ather Saeed while six new judges would take oath in few days.

An oath-taking ceremony was held at Sindh High Court Judges Library. Sindh High Court Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali administered fresh oath to Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani, Justice Athar Saeed and Justice Gulzar Ahmed. Advocate General Yousuf Leghari and other top officials were also presented on the occasion.
