India to film train passengers
Source: OUR MONITORING DESK August 18, 2008 IN a bid to step up surveillance at the Attari and Munnabao railway stations located near the Pak-India border, the Indian government has decided to go ahead with a plan to videotape passengers travelling between the two countries, reports Indian media.
Tenders have been invited by the Indian Home Ministry to acquire sophisticated equipment for setting up an integrated surveillance system in railway stations at Attari in Indian Punjab and Munnabao in Rajasthan near the Pakistan border.
