1st Muharram tomorrow
ISLAMABAD (APP) - The mo-on of Muharram-ul-Haram was not sighted across the country on Thursday, therefore the fist Muharram will fall tomorrow (Saturday, December 19), announced Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee here. Meeting of the Central Rue-Hilal Committee held in the Ministry of Religious Affairs building. While zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees met in their respective areas.
Due to illness of Mufti Muneebur Rehman, Mufti Muhammad Rafique Hasni chaired the meeting.
The representatives of the Met Office were also present in the meeting. Acting chairman of the committee Mufti Muhammad Rafique Hasni informed the mediamen about not sighting of the Muharram-ul-Harram moon.
About 14 Ulema from different schools of thoughts from across the country also attended the meeting.
