14 cos issued prohibited bore licences, says Malik

ISLAMABAD - Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Wednesday told the National Assembly that certain security agencies including Inter-Risk Security were issued prohibited bore licenses during the year 2008-09.
As many as 14 private security agencies were issued licences during the year 2008-09, Minister for Interior told the National Assembly (NA) in a written reply during the question hour. The private security companies that were issued prohibited licences including Inter-Risk Security, 138, Access Security, 02, Sultan Muhammad Security, 10, Mastang Security, 15, Mishal Security, 02, Haris enterprise Co, 06, EB Lends (Pvt), 16, Zeenat Marketing, 02, Bismillah Cotton Industries, 10, MS Buildres Force, 08, Garrison Cadet College Kohat, 24, Abdullah Khan Company, 02, ZTBL Islamabad, 20, and Hajara Engineering Company, 20.
It would not be out of place to mention here that reportedly the link of Inter-Risk Private Company with the US Embassy was exposed in a police raid carried out a couple of months back.
It came to surface when Islamabad Police in collaboration with district administration raided a house located in sector F-6/1, Islamabad, and arrested two persons, besides recovering a large number of unlicensed arms and ammunition.
