Raza Rabbani appointed as PM advisor
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday appointed seasoned politician and PPP stalwart Senator Raza Rabbani as his advisor, report said. Rabbani is presently heading the Parliaments Constitutional Reforms Committee, responsible for formulating the recommendations for Eighteenth Constitutional Amendment. He is likely to present CRC report before the Parliament prior to President Asif Ali Zardaris address to the joint session of the two houses earlier next week, the report added. It was the second responsibility laid on the shoulders of PPP leader in the present government as he was earlier appointed Minister of State for Interprovincial Relations. He was also the Leader of the House in the Senate of Pakistan.
