'Inefficient' advisors, ministers likely to go

These sources further informed that President Zardari had given free hand to Premier Gilani to make changes in his team of lieutenants and replace the inefficient ones with vibrant and active members from the party ranks.
The sources further disclosed that the process of reorganising the team of advisors in the Presidency was also underway and a number of members of President Zardari’s team would be replaced in the days to come.
The sources further informed that it was further decided in the meeting between President Zardari and Premier Gilani that though the coalition partners had ditched them at the eleventh hour on the issue of NRO, it was the unanimous view of both the top PPP men that they would keep the coalition partners along for the greater cause of democracy.
The sources dispelled the impression that there would be some severe reaction towards the MQM following their betrayal to PPP on NRO and disclosed that President Zardari had made it clear to the party leaders that they would not afford any confrontation with their coalition partners at this juncture.
