Sardar Latif Khosa to be new AG

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Sardar Muhammad Latif Khan Khosa, a senior advocate of the Supreme Court, is being appointed as Attorney General for Pakistan.

According to a senior official of the Ministry of Law and Justice, the summary has been approved and notification will be issued shortly.

When contacted, Sardar Latif Khan Khosa who is also Senator of the Pakistan People's Party, confirmed the news about his appointment as Attorney General for Pakistan.

It may be mentioned here that Malik Muhammad Qayyum who was appointed Attorney General for Pakistan by the former President Pervez Musharraf last year, had already tendered his resignation a few months back but was asked to continue as Attorney General till further order.
