Fauzia Gilani not NRO beneficiary, says NAB

ISLAMABAD - Madam Fouzia Gilani wife of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani is not beneficiary of NRO, said a NAB clarification issued here on Thursday.
Rebutting media reports suggesting as if her name was included in the list of NRO beneficiaries, NAB clarified that references against the directors including Madam Fouzia Gilani of M/S Multan Edible Oil Extraction Ltd were terminated on the basis of decision of Sindh High Court and the clearance of ZTBL and full payment of settled amount of Rs. 45.521 million. It further clarified that the cases against the directors (including Madam Fouzia Gilani) of M/S Multan Edible Oil Extraction Ltd were settled by ZTBL in pursuance of Sindh High Court orders of 02-10-2006 and 17-03-2008.
