Source: SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT July 21, 2008 NEW YORK - The condition of Ahmed Faraz basically remains unchanged -- critical but stable -- as a bunch of dedicated Pakistani-American medical specialists work to save his life at a Chicago hospital, according to knowledgeable sources.
The 76-year old poet, who was admitted to the Adventist Hinsdale Hospital on July 7, is breathing on his own and is in intensive care. The coming week is critical for him, sources said.
