No change in Sindh

KARACHI - Pakistan People’s Party top leadership has assured Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) that despite the resignation of former President Pervez Musharraf, his nominated Sindh Governor Dr Ishrtual Ibad would not be replaced, insiders in PPP and MQM told The Nation here on Thursday.

The sources in MQM and PPP disclosed that PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari had sent his envoy, Dr Asim NRB Chairman to London who along with Wajiad Shmasul Hasan met with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and assured him that PPP would not replace Sindh Governor Dr Ishrtual Ibad.
