PAF jet crashes near Faisalabad; pilots safe
Source: APP June 22, 2008 ISLAMABAD - A trainer jet of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) - FT-17 crashed near Faisalabad while pilot and trainer pilot ejected safely on Saturday.
According to PAF sources, the aircraft on a routine training mission, crashed 25 miles west of the industrial city of Faisalbabd. Apparently the cause of the crash is stated to be of technical nature while a board of inquiry has also been constituted.
No loss to property or injuries on the ground have been reported.
