4 of a family killed by mortar shell
By ESSA KHANKHEL September 22, 2008 SWAT - At least four members of a family, including a man and his three children, were killed when a mortar shell landed and exploded on their house on Sunday in Bara Banda, Tehsil Kabal.
The name of the killed man was Bakhtawar Khan. He was the sole breadwinner of the ill-fated family. Immediately after the blast, residents of the area reached the site and took the victims to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately they died before reaching the hospital.
