Scheduled to land in New York around 10pm Pakistan time, President Zardari will have his first meeting with President George W. Bush on Tuesday where he is expected to discuss territorial violations of US military into Pakistani areas along Afghan border. President Zadora’s meeting with Indian Prime Minster Manmohan Singh will help take the Pak-India peace process forward. Strict security measures are being implemented for President Asif Ali Zardari as he arrived in New York to lead the Pakistan delegation at the U.N.’s 63rd General Assembly meeting. The increased security came in the wake of the deadly suicide truck bombing at the Marriott hotel in Islamabad Saturday. Sharp shooters, roadblocks, mobile command posts and bomb sniffing dogs have been deployed all around the hotel where the President would stay. Most of Zardari's meetings have been restricted, and only members of the accompanying delegation will be allowed to move alongside him. An advance security team from Pakistan is already in the U.S. to coordinate with the local authorities here.
