Nawab Magsi to continue as Governor

QUETTA - Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi has shown readiness to continue as Governor Balochistan following request of Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, sources told TheNation here on Friday.

Governor Balochistan had expressed deep concern over the law and order situation on the eve of flag hoisting ceremony on August 14. He had accepted the office of Governorship with a resolve to bring peace in Balochistan but the province witnessed no improvement. Magsi said that he was seriously considering to tender resignation.
