Asif to address Parliament on March 16

PRESIDENT Asif Ali Zardari plans to address the joint sitting of the parliament on March 16, reported a private TV channel Monday, quoting its sources. The core committee of Pakistan Peoples Party has decided to present the bill to repeal the 17th Constitutional Amendment to the National Assembly with a view to concluding the constitutional reforms prior to Zardaris address, the sources said.
The PPP committee has also issued instructions to Chairman Constitutional Reforms Committee Raza Rabbani in this regard, the sources added.
