CM orders removal of 160 revenue, police officials

The CM said he would not allow anti-corruption establishment to sit idle while those officials against whom corruption cases have been registered move freely on bail and continue to occupy their posts.

He directed to remove 91 officials of Revenue Department and 69 of Police and their appointment as OSD who are still working against their posts despite registration of cases against them on corruption charges.

He said that a case was registered with Anti-Corruption Establishment after charges against an official are proved after formal inquiry, therefore, allowing him to continue to serve on the same post is strange.
