ISLAMABAD - The bunch of twenty non-performing federal ministers and advisors facing direct threat of being axed will follow the suit of their four colleagues who are not only NRO beneficiaries but have also shown their disinclination to resign, TheNation has reliably learnt on Sunday.
Sources viewed these developments with keenness saying these moves would further delay the much-awaited reshuffle in the Federal Cabinet making the situation more challenging for the Prime Minister Gilani who described the reshuffle last week as a routine matter.
However, some sources maintained that those ministers and advisors already on the non-performing list have stepped up their efforts to resist the pressure on them to surrender, adding that the two PPP ministers were already in that list.
However, it could not be confirmed till filing of this report, as none of the two NRO recipient PPP ministers were available immediately for their reaction.
It was further learnt that an interesting race has begun amongst the Cabinet members to save their skins at all costs hence forcing political pundits to believe that PPP high command would be facing quite challenging situation to make its Cabinets reshuffle move a reality.
Sources were of the view that PPP move to make reshuffle in the Federal Cabinet in the given situation to make it more vibrant and effective would backfire and may lead to serious political repercussions.
