Taseer meets Shujaat

ISLAMABAD - Amid growing concerns about the possible ruling coalition’s split over the deadlock of the deposed judges’ restoration, Governor Punjab Salman Taseer Saturday held a meeting with President Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain here at the latter’s residence.

The meeting, in which Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was also present, took place at the same time when a PPP delegation was holding crucial talks with PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind, Lahore.
