Law Ministry asked to follow SC's NRO verdict
ISLAMABAD Federal Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Babar Awan, has issued directives to his Ministry to get going on implementation of the Supreme Court verdict regarding NRO, as directed by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
In a statement issued by the ministry, Babar directed the Ministry to initiate an initial phase regarding implementation of Supreme Court verdict on NRO.
The sources in the Ministry informed TheNation that Babar Awan also discussed the ways and means with his legal team including Attorney General and Federal Law Secretary to deal with the post-detailed verdict scenario.
The Prime Minister on Friday after having briefing from legal experts had passed an order for implementation of the SC verdict in NRO case in accordance with the law and the constitution.
