One hurt in explosion near Governor House

QUETTA - A passerby was hurt and windowpanes of nearby buildings shattered after a powerful explosive device planted by unknown saboteurs exploded at TNT Chowk close to Governor House here Monday, police said.

The explosives were planted near PTCL office opposite the Governor House that exploded with a loud bang hurting a passerby slightly.  DIG Investigation Rehmatullah Niazi, SSP City Qazi Muhammad Wahid and senior police officials reached the spot soon after the incident.  Police cordoned off the area and started investigation.
