Mortar shell kills woman
MIRAMSHAH - A woman was killed and seven others injured as a result of firing by gunship helicopters at Matches Camp in outskirts of Miramshah, headquarters of North Waziristan Agency Saturday morning.
As per details, a gunship helicopter Saturday morning bombed the Matches Camp, once occupied by Taliban militants. As a result of bombing, four houses were razed to the ground whereas a vehicle was completely destroyed.
The eyewitnesses informed that a woman was killed as result of bombing while seven persons were injured. All of the victims were local tribesmen.
Meanwhile, militants have fired rickets and missiles against the security forces camps at Data Khel and Mirali regions of North Waziristan. However, no loss to life or property was reported.
