Two more units of Mangla Dam Powerhouse restored

Mangla Dam powerhouse, hit by technical faults last month, its two more units have been restored, which has further put in 230 megawatt of electricity more in the national grid. Mangla Power House shift engineer said that from the Dams tunnel #3 unit # 5 and 6 of 115MW each have been restored. Following the restoration of these two units, ten out of six units of the powerhouse have been restored and generating a total of 690MW of electricity from here. Power House officials have expressed the hope that the remaining four units of the Mangla Power House would also be restored in next 2/4 days. Mangla Dam power House had closed due to developing wiring fault.
