Militants’ positions pounded in Swat
November 26, 2008 Security forces carried out fresh bombardment and shelling on suspected militants’ hideouts in Swat on Tuesday night. However, there was no report of any casualty. According to sources, security forces continued overnight shelling on militants’ positions in upper parts of Kabbal and Matta tehsils in scenic Swat valley. Meanwhile, Kanju-Kabbal road remained closed to general traffic for the 16th straight day on Wednesday, causing severe hardships for people.
