Forces kill 3 terrorists in Swat

ISLAMABAD – Security forces have killed three terrorists during a search operation at Bar Kandao near Kuz Uzbek in Swat-Malakand, while process of consolidation in the regained areas continued on three sectors in South Waziristan Agency.
According to an ISPR press release issued here on Wednesday, the security forces also carried out search operation at Gumbat Maira near Kokarai and apprehended 4 terrorists, while five terrorists surrendered themselves in Roringar.
In South Waziristan, the security forces cleared area around Bangi Wala on Jandola sector and would commence search operation at Zhawar Wala near Mir Khuni. Sanitization of Shinshamwam was carried out while 10 IEDs were defused, besides a large quantity of arms and ammunitions was recovered.
Terrorists fired 9 rockets at Ladha Fort. Security forces completed search operation of area around Khassadar Ridge near Barwand.
On Razmak sector, security forces cleared 22 compounds at Pash Ziarat and 10 compounds at Toda China. The security forces conducted search operation at village Nishpa and Salari Shaga near Kandai Sar and found a compound used as training centre. Jihadi and training literature in abundance was recovered.
A total of 14,741 Cash Cards have been issued to displaced families of Waziristan as part of relief measures.
