'N' wants share in BB income support scheme
By MUBASHIR HASSAN September 25, 2008 LAHORE - As negotiations between the PPP and the PML-N are going on to settle modalities of power-sharing in Punjab, the latter has demanded some share in Benazir Income Support Programme, being launched by the federal government before Eid for the poor families.
The said Programme will be launched with Rs 34 billion, and the amount would later be increased to Rs 50 billion to provide Rs1000 per month to the poor families.
