8 SHC judges likely to be restored today

It will be worth mentioning here that a couple of weeks back, the deposed judges had agreed to take oath under PCO and the federal government had also issued a notification of their reinstatement but due to the interference of PML-N, the then coalition partner, forced the government to withdraw the said notification.

On the other side, President Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) Rasheed A Rizvi expressed his unawareness about the matter.

Talking to The Nation, Rizvi said had not been informed about any such development. However, he warned that if the deposed judges take oath under PCO, SHCBA would call an urgent meeting on Wednesday (today) to chalk out their future strategy.
