JUI-F sets terms for supporting Zardari
By NAVEED BUTT August 27, 2008 “In the priorities, the JUI-F demanded of the PPP government to announce weekly holiday on Friday instead of Sunday and stop military operation in tribal areas. We also asked the government to reopen Jamia Faridia immediately,” he said. He said the JUI-F also wanted amendment in Hadood Ordinance according to the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
He said that a meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC) of the JUI-F would be held today in Islamabad. “We would discuss all current issues of the country including law and order situation in tribal areas and the supporting to the presidential candidate of the PPP,” Haidri concluded.
