The names of Justice Khawaja Muhammad Sharif, Justice MA Shahid Siddiqui, Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman have not been included in the list, the sources said.

The deposed judges have made it clear that they would accept reinstatement only if they are not asked to take fresh oath.

The sources further said the deposed judges had apprehensions over taking fresh oath saying, if they take oath on govt’s assurance that their seniority would not be disturbed.

Even then there is a possibility that anyone of PCO judges could move a petition in SC seeking resolution of seniority issue on the plea that after taking fresh oath deposed judges should be declared junior to them.  

When contacted Justice Siddiqui confirmed that a high-up phoned him on Tuesday inviting him to take another oath on Wednesday but he refused. He said as he had taken oath once he was appointed, he would not take fresh oath. He said ,however, he was ready to rejoin after the reinstatement of deposed CJP.
