KARACHI/LARKANA - The second death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto will be observed at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto on Sunday (today) with simplicity and devotion in reverence of Ashura Muharram.
Benazir Bhutto was assassinated outside Liaquat Bagh in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007, after she had addressed a huge public gathering.
Delegations from all over the country are arriving at Garhi Khuda Bux to pay tributes to their great leader. Quran Khawani will also be held at her mausoleum.
Benazirs husband President Asif Ali Zardari and her children Bilawal Bhutto, Asifa and Bakhtawar have also reached Naudero amid tight security on the occasion.
The President visited the Mazar of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and also offered fateha on the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and other family members at Garhi Khuda Bux.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is expected to visit the Bhutto family mausoleum today. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto along with his sisters visited the Mazar of their mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, laid floral wreath, as well as offered fateha.
The second death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto will also be observed throughout the country and the caravans of PPP workers led by federal and provincial ministers, MNAs, MPAs were heading for Garhi Khuda Bux.
