UN dragging its feet on BB murder probe
By SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT September 26, 2008 UNITED NATIONS - Despite a forceful plea by President Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan’s request for a UN commission to investigate the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto appears to have made no headway.
The issue was discussed at a 25-minute meeting the Pakistani leader had with the Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at UN Headquarters in New York on Thursday.
