Siddiqui's candidature challenged in SHC

Karachi - A constitutional petition has been filed to challenge presidential candidature of the PML-N, former justice Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui Wednesday in Sindh High Court by the former sessions judge Abdul Wahab. Besides Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddiqui, Chief Election Commissioner and presiding officer concerned have been made respondents in the petition.

The petitioner has pleaded for the disqualification of Saeed-uz-Zaman, alleging that he was not covered by the criteria prescribed for presidential candidate.
