Centre, provinces trade blames over polio cases

ISLAMABAD  - A tug of war between Federal Health Ministry, provincial health ministry and local administration has started over rising cases of polio in the country, especially in Sindh.

The Federal Health Ministry held the provincial health ministry and local administration responsible for raising polio cases in Sindh while the local administration has blamed substandard polio vaccine in this respect.

The UNICEF and WHO have also expressed grave concern over rising polio cases in Sindh, sources in health ministry told Online on Sunday.
